Looking Back on the European Heritage Days

As part of the European Heritage Days, La Mure’s Little Train hosted three unique cultural events on September 19, 20, and 21, 2025, which were met with great success!
Friday, September 19 – La Mure Station
The Sylvie Guillermin Company captivated the audience with “We Are Not Birds”, a solo vertical dance performance on a four-meter pole set up in front of the station. Suspended between earth and sky, this poetic moment offered a performance both fragile and powerful, where the body became a form of poetry. Two free performances were held, along with a vertical dance workshop.
Saturday, September 20 & Sunday, September 21 – Gare du Temps (La Mure Tourist Office)
With the support of the Matheysine Community, Éric Bettega led a unique workshop exploring the history of the former train stations on the Matheysin Highlands. Each session combined a commented video screening and a guided tour of the former La Mure station, immersing participants in the region’s rich railway heritage.
